By prioritising conscious disposal methods, like recycling or donating, further reinforces our commitment to thoughtful practices.

GENERAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS

At The Living Truth, we genuinely believe that every single product is a true testament to our Orthodox Christian Faith, deserving of the utmost care and respect. All our apparel is guaranteed to be sourced from reputable garment suppliers, all which come with their recommended washing and cleaning instructions. Please refer to our website FAQ’s to view our affiliated suppliers and manufactures of our apparel collection. Due to the importance and sensitive nature of our apparel, we ask that common logic be applied to all general care, washing and storage of our clothing. Our recommendations include storing our clothing respectfully in wardrobes (preferably in a hanging format), where they are free from creasing, general dirtiness and attracting dust. Whilst each garment provides their suppliers recommended washing instructions, we also ask you avoid washing your apparel with certain clothes and chemicals. Our recommendation is to wash your apparel with other items in similar nature (shirts with shirts), and avoid mixing with heavy duty workwear, underwear, socks, etc. Thus, creating an effective way to extend the lifecycle of our clothing, whilst upholding the respect and harmony of our peaceful faith.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We understand that unfortunate accidents happen, and whilst we pride ourselves on delivering excellent quality apparel, we cannot provide a life-time guarantee. In the event that our apparel begins to tear, fade or peel, we ask our faithful customers that common logic and respect be considered before disposing of the clothing in a wasteful manner. With many Orthodox church parishes located all around Sydney and worldwide, we kindly ask that you get in touch with the parishes priest, in order to discuss your arrangement in recycling and/or disposing of the clothing. Many Serbian Orthodox churches in the Sydney metropolitan area offer to collect faithful items that are in a broken/despaired state and dispose of these items in a thoughtful and respectful manner. If you cannot arrange for this due to your location, health, or any other reasons, we urge that you get in contact with the team at The Living Truth to explore the possibility of returning the item/s so that we can uphold and ensure that we deliver on our promise to thoughtful and respectful care.
